Scope1 conference, Vienna, Austria

Clark Dodsworth, Osage Associates, was the co-producer and co-moderator for Scope1, the City of Vienna's first high-technology vision conference, on "Information technology and the future of knowledge."

information vs. meaning?

Scope1 is entitled information vs. meaning and asks what radically innovative tools and strategies for acquiring knowledge will emerge. Contributions from developers, scientists, visionaries, designers and managers offer a first-hand account of current developments and the way they interplay to create new scenarios.

Scope is a series of conferences that explore the impact of information technology on human experience. At Scope, international speakers from such diverse fields as computer science, design, human-computer interaction, entertainment and economics present projects and visions that contribute to the evolution of information technology and its uses in the next decades.
